Lee’s Bertie is such a beauty. Blooms are about 3 inches across pretty consistently and have an almost iridescent look to the petals. Her stem length is one of the best I’ve seen with reliable 45° angle. Taller plant coming in around 5’, but the stems are over a foot by themselves before even hitting a leaf set. Hybridized by Lee Hemings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens and introduced in 2025.
B-Grade Dahlia Tuber: B-grade tubers are healthy, viable tubers that will grow and bloom true to variety. They may have multiple cosmetic imperfections, thin necks, runts, or have lost a little too much moisture. These tubers are fully plantable and will thrive for you, but did not meet our top-select standards for full price. B-grade tubers are normally tubers we would keep to plant ourselves, but we have extra and are selling at a significant discount. We will never send out a tuber that isn’t viable. There are no guarantees with B-grade tubers. Only purchase if you are comfortable with these conditions.
Honoring the Hybridizer: 10% of each sale of this variety is returned to Lee in appreciation and support of her breeding and hybridizing work. Information on Lee's seedlings can be found here.
