Lee’s Fresh Penny (B Grade Tuber)

This cheerful 3 1/2 inch beauty glows in the garden and absolutely shines in a bouquet. The blooms are full and perfectly formed, with soft, layered petals that blend shades of peach and copper. Each flower has a warm, sunlit quality that photographs beautifully and brings instant happiness to any arrangement. Strong, upright stems and great bloom consistency make this one a dream for cutting and production alike. Color shifts slightly as temperatures fluctuate between muted beauty to vibrant color. Plant height 4’. Hybridized by Lee Hemmings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens and released in 2023.

B-Grade Dahlia Tuber: B-grade tubers are healthy, viable tubers that will grow and bloom true to variety. They may have multiple cosmetic imperfections, thin necks, runts, or have lost a little too much moisture. These tubers are fully plantable and will thrive for you, but did not meet our top-select standards for full price. B-grade tubers are normally tubers we would keep to plant ourselves, but we have extra and are selling at a significant discount. We will never send out a tuber that isn’t viable. There are no guarantees with B-grade tubers. Only purchase if you are comfortable with these conditions.
