Hubba Bubba is so perfectly named. Incredibly high petal count on these 4 inch cotton candy pink blooms. Full disclosure - blooms are fluffy and heavy, and the stems aren’t up to the task of holding up such a heavy bloom. Very pretty flower, but unless you are putting one stem in a vase and it has support, they don’t make good cut flowers. Not disbudding helps keep the blooms smaller and more manageable for the stems. Plant height 4'. Hybridized by Lee Hemmings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens.
B-Grade Dahlia Tuber: B-grade tubers are healthy, viable tubers that will grow and bloom true to variety. They may have multiple cosmetic imperfections, thin necks, runts, or have lost a little too much moisture. These tubers are fully plantable and will thrive for you, but did not meet our top-select standards for full price. B-grade tubers are normally tubers we would keep to plant ourselves, but we have extra and are selling at a significant discount. We will never send out a tuber that isn’t viable. There are no guarantees with B-grade tubers. Only purchase if you are comfortable with these conditions.
Honoring the Hybridizer: 10% of each sale of this variety is returned to Lee in appreciation and support of her breeding and hybridizing work. Information on Lee's seedlings can be found here.
