Lee’s Punch Drunk Love
Lee’s Punch Drunk Love
Meet Lee’s Punch Drunk Love! This gal checks all the boxes for me. First, she is a rooting machine. The easiest of all my dahlias to propagate, which is why I was able to plant so many of her this past season. My favorite quality of the 3-4 inch blooms are the petals. As the petals age, they become lacinated with little dark dimples near the petal splits. It’s such a unique trait of a dahlia, and I get comments on how attractive it is constantly. The color is a rosy sunset pink with a peach petal base and dark magenta accents. Great bloom connection and long, strong stems. Consistent bloomer all season long. She’s a keeper. plant height 5’. Hybridized by Lee Hemmings Carlton of Goldenrod Gardens and released in 2024.
