Levi’s Nutmeg Potted Cutting (2027 New Release)

Introducing Levi’s Nutmeg. I’m not sure I’ve ever been this excited to release a dahlia. This guy has been amazing right from the very beginning.

It stands at a perfect 3.5 feet with beautiful dark stems that are rock solid. I have NEVER had stems this strong before. I couldn’t get the blooms to wobble at all. Instead of using snips to harvest, all that is needed is a little bend and snap. If you’ve had this before in a variety, you know how satisfying that is.

Perfect 3 inch blooms… It’s difficult to capture the true color of these beauties through a lens. In most light, they’re the perfect shade of warm, toasted bourbon with berry undertones. The fine-lined petal detail completes each bloom perfectly. The dark centers are created by their warm raspberry petal reverse, adding the perfect complement to both the bloom and the dark stems. No clock faced blooms here; just perfect angles.

Every 20 - 30 blooms, Nutmeg throws an adorable purple wolf petal or two, adding so much character. And as you can see, the number of blooms this plant pumps out is absolutely mind-blowing. I can’t wait for all of you to grow it and experience it for yourselves.

No need to deadhead, the side buds produce beautiful smaller 2 inch blooms that are adorable with long stems, incredible for arranging. Immensely prolific, with multiple flushes of flowers all season long. 

Hybridized by Levi Tremblay and set to be released in Spring 2027. 

Product Listing: This listing is for one potted dahlia cutting. The rooting cube has been removed, and roots have been treated with Mykos Mycorrhizal Fungi Organic Root Stimulator. Two bottom sets of lateral leaves have been removed and nodes buried to encourage tuber production. Soil-less, Sunshine Mix #4 medium was used in a 3 inch pot. Potted cutting is securely shipped in a cardboard, reverse tuck box.
